The Shadelands BART shuttle: New look, same fare—free!

Shadelands Walnut Creek rolled out its newly rebranded and re-wrapped BART shuttle bus, County Connection #7, at a festive June 13 ribbon cutting held at Calicraft Brewing Co. and attended by scores of celebrants.

A long-standing partnership between Shadelands and County Connection, the free shuttle transports passengers in and around Shadelands and between Shadelands and the Pleasant Hill BART station every 20 minutes during morning and afternoon commutes. The stunning new bus wrap is designed as a billboard on wheels, showcasing the distinctive amenities, businesses, and nonprofits that make Shadelands a daily destination.

And, Shadelands' new website is now live! VisitShadelands.com. You'll find a bright, easy-to-navigate site that shines a spotlight on the vitality and diversity of the Shadelands community.

As Shadelands continues to unveil its new brand and vision, you'll find additional enhancements planned for Shadelands, including crosswalks, roadway improvements, bicycle lanes, wayfinding signage, and EV charging stations.

We're making getting around Shadelands easier—on foot; by car, bus, and bicycle; and online—brightening your day along the way.

Members of the Walnut Creek City Council and neighboring communities joined County Connection in a ribbon cutting to celebrate the arrival of the newly re-wrapped, rebranded Shadelands free BART shuttle, County Connection #7.
