Heads up: roadway & walkway improvements continue in Shadelands

SW corner of Shadelands Drive & N. Wiget Lane, site of the Shadelands & Wiget Pedestrian Improvement Project.

Work has begun at the corner of Shadelands Drive and N. Wiget Lane. Be alert to crews, trucks, and bright orange K-rail separating construction areas from vehicular traffic.

The City's Shadelands and Wiget Pedestrian Improvement Project calls for new sidewalks, curbs and gutters, curb ramps, sidewalk drains, and a streetlight, and is expected to last two months.

Portions of the sidewalk will be closed during construction, and pedestrians and cyclists will be directed toward alternative routes.

For information, visit Walnut Creek.
