Joybound People & Pets is celebrating Valentine’s Day a little early this year with its second annual Unleash the LOVE Festival & Adopt-a-thon, to be held Saturday, February 8, 11am–3pm, on the Joybound campus, 2890 Mitchell Drive, Walnut Creek.

Free and family friendly, the festival features adorable adoptable animals from partner shelters and rescue groups across Northern California. Also look for food trucks; a beer garden; free ice cream, popcorn, glitter face painting, and giveaways; interactive craft stations, games, and temporary tattoos; a DJ; an artisan marketplace; and Ask an Expert: free advice from Joybound trainers and veterinarians.
