Joybound People & Pets (formerly ARF) is holding one of its largest community events and fundraisers on Sunday, May 19, in downtown Walnut Creek. Free and open to the public, Joybound Around Town (formerly ARF's Animals on Broadway) returns for its 24th year to celebrate the human-animal bond with a pet walk and festival in Broadway Plaza.

Joybound Around Town begins at 10am with an easy one-mile walk around Broadway Plaza with furry friends and fellow animal lovers. Team leaders invite family and friends to join them to raise funds for the health and welfare of dogs and cats, who are given a second chance at life and happiness at Joybound.
The Pet Festival continues into the afternoon with pet health and wellness-related booths and family-fun activities, including the popular Best Dressed Pet Contest.
