Collab Fertility hosted its ribbon cutting May 30

Collab Fertility founder Dr. Thalia Segal (c) is surrounded by her Collab "Dream Team" of specialists on the left; her husband, David, at her side; and members of the Walnut Creek City Council on the right.

Collab Fertility was the place to be on Thursday, May 30, for outdoor fun, catered food, and live music as the high-tech, purpose-built fertility clinic and embryology lab celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting and festive community party.

Collab Fertility Founder & Director Thalia Segal, MD, a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist, was all smiles as she and her team greeted guests, speakers, family, and friends.

On behalf of State Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, Field Representative Cherise Khaund (r) presented Dr. Segal with a certificate of welcome and appreciation.

Tours of the 9,000-sq-ft facility were a highlight of the evening, as were the welcomes and congratulations from community leaders, healthcare colleagues, and attendees.

"Collab is short for collaborative because that's the true spirit of this center," said Thalia. "Collaboration with patients, staff, local providers, and other practitioners, such as acupuncture and psychology—every discipline that can help our patients be successful. My hope is that we help thousands of patients achieve the families they want."

Close to 200 guests, healthcare colleagues, and community members gathered on a warm Thursday evening in Shadelands to celebrate Collab Fertility's open house & ribbon cutting.
